Shenandoah HS adding Robotics!

The second semester of the 2018-19 school year will be a new start for a class at Shenandoah High School. IFirst Robotics League will be a new competition that the students in Mrs. Skillern's Coding class will be competing in. The action has begun with students signing up for the course, initial work being done, and plans for the reveal of format for the Spring competition to be held in Lawrence, KS. If students perform well, they could move on to a National stage. This being the first year, the team will need to secure some sponsorships and funds. They started this process with a nice grant reward of over $4,000. More information can be found here: https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/frc

The hope for this class is to introduce students to advanced coding and competitive robotics... A first for Shenandoah HS beginning Jan 2019!
