Accessing Support from the Human Resource Department
Welcome to Shenandoah Community School District’s Human Resource Department webpage. The Human Resource Department is committed to recruiting, hiring, and supporting highly qualified professional and classified support staff members.
The department provides information related to general employee information, payroll, and benefits. Additional information is available to support staff in completing training requirements and can provide information about the certifications and licenses required for specific job duties.
Cori Feller aids with application processes, background checks, employee records, Frontline Central, job vacancies, Iowa Works, and training requirements.
Lisa Holmes manages Absence Management, employment verifications, Time & Attendance, and FMLA applications. She also responds to questions about employee handbooks.
William Barrett may provide assistance with employee benefits including information about the District’s health insurance plan, 403 b and IPERS, and payroll.
Kerri Nelson leads the collective bargaining and negotiation process and works directly with the Shenandoah Education Association and Shenandoah Support Staff Plus employee groups. She also responds to contractual concerns, employee grievances, and EOE/AA concerns.
