Information Technology Department

The Technology Department of the Shenandoah Community School District is dedicated to creating a dynamic and secure digital environment that enhances both teaching and learning. Serving nearly 1300 students, our department ensures the seamless operation and continuous improvement of the district's technological infrastructure. This includes routine maintenance, repairs, and software support for all district-approved applications, as well as managing data and voice networks to ensure smooth communication and information flow.

Our mission is to empower the learning community by fostering critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and effective communication skills. We achieve this through strategic planning, project management, end-user support, and procurement services. The Technology Department is committed to maintaining a safe and ethical digital environment where students and staff can thrive as lifelong learners.

In addition, we proudly support IGNITE, the fastest growing online school in the state of Iowa, serving over 250 students. Our team ensures that IGNITE's technological needs are met, providing robust online learning platforms and reliable technical support to facilitate a seamless and enriching educational experience for all its students.
