IGNITE Online & Personalized Learning School

The IGNITE Online & Personalized Learning School is a student-centered model of instruction that allows students to maximize their learning options through flexible scheduling.

Families who homeschool their children interested in dual enrollment can benefit from access to free curriculum and fully licensed content specialists to help support their student's learning needs. Students can select a full academic schedule or a partial schedule tailored to them. They are also able to participate in school activities and extended learning programs.

Some IGNITE students are participating as hybrid students, which allows them to benefit from a combination of online and on-campus learning. The hybrid option opens the door for students to focus on concentrated areas of instruction in the Shenandoah High School's Career Technical Education program and allows room in the day for students to participate in work-based learning, internships, and registered apprenticeships.  You can read more about the new housing renovation project here.

This program is available to resident students living in the Shenandoah School District and is also available to non-resident students. Students who do not live in the District must file an open enrollment request to be eligible for the program. These form for open enrollment can be found below.   There is no longer a date that open enrollment must be filed by.  Families can open enroll anytime throughout the year.

The Superintendent of Shenandoah CSD, Dr. Kerri Nelson, and Denise Green were recently interviewed by KMA. You can read more about this and listen to the interview here.

Feel free to reach out to Denise Green, the Remote Learning Coordinator, if you have any questions. She can assist you with the registration process.  Contact Denise Green at greendr@shencsd.com or call 712-246-4727.
